Covid-19 Safety Compliance

We would kindly ask all our guests to read the information and comply with the instructions below
Our priority at Hazlehead House during this unfortunate virus pandemic is to ensure total customer safety and wellbeing at all times. This also includes the health and safety of our house cleaning personnel. To this end we are following the guide lines set down by the authorising body to which we are associated. This has allowed Hazlehead House to gain the AA Certificate of Covid-19 Compliance.
One simple measure is to wash hands for a minimum of 20 seconds and we have installed hand sanitises in the entrance porch for everyone’s use upon entering the premises. Once inside we have a noticeboard which will show the cleaning and checking procedure which we follow to the letter.

  • Check with all members of your group they are all feeling well
  • Check with all members of your groups if they would like to bring their own pillows, bedding, towels, if they feel safer doing so.
  • Let all members of your group know that check in is no earlier than 4pm.
  • Please talk to all members of your group and risk asses any concerns you have and plan your stay safety.
  • Some hand sanitisers will be at the property, but we do recommend you also bring your own as well.

On Arrival

  • Please sanitise your hands when entering the property
  • Please wash your hands for at least 20 seconds at a time regularly.
  • Please wash your hands if you touch something that a member from another household has touched.
  • Please take time to read through the guest information booklet on how to use the hot tub pool safely – we recommend one household group using any facilities at a time and then that same group cleaning around the area used ready for the next household group.
  • Please allocate bathrooms where possible to household groups, so you are not sharing facilities where this can be prevented.
  • Please take time to read through the guest information booklet for any additional instructions from the owner relating to the property.
  • Please address any issue with the owner at the time, please allow the owner to assist you with any concerns.
  • Please make sure you stay 2 metres apart from the Owner/Caretaker should they have to attend the property
  • Every time you leave the property please social distance from anyone outside of your group
  • Please follow government guidelines where possible regarding social distancing.

Activities Booked

  • Please social distance where possible from any 3rd party supplier you have booked to attend your accommodation. Each supplier has completed their own risk assessment and should follow government guidelines and all safety measures properly. Please address any issues at the time with the supplier so they can comply.
  • Where social distancing is not possible masks should be worn.
  • For any takeaways delivered – we recommend that you take the food out of the containers and dispose of the packaging, wash your hands thoroughly for 20 seconds and then sanitise your hands.

If anyone in your party shows symptoms of Coronavirus while staying at the accommodation, you must:

  • Inform the owner/caretaker immediately (number in the information guest booklet at the property and on the final arrangements we send you).
  • Inform Celebration Cottages immediately 07917887453
  • Email Celebration Cottages info@celebrationcottages.co.uk with a full list of names, addresses & telephone numbers of all members of your party – in case we have to give this to the NHS as part of their track and trace system.
  • If you are only staying for 2/3 days – we advise you to ALL leave the property immediately and return to your own homes to ALL self-isolate at your main residence for 14 days, the person who is experiencing symptoms should take  a test as soon as possible to confirm if he/she has the virus and tests positive, the person should then let all other members of their group know and also confirm with Celebration Cottages if the test is positive.  For further advice after this you should dial 111.
  • If you have had to leave the property early due to a guest showing symptoms, then no refund or compensation will be given.
  • Should your stay be for a week and a guest shows symptoms, then the  lead booker needs to inform Celebration Cottages and the owner – the guest should take a test as soon as possible to confirm if its positive or not (where this can be done in the duration of your stay – all guests can decide to leave the property and go home and self-isolate or stay at the property  and self-isolate there this point) If the results are positive then everyone should leave the property immediately and return to their main residence to self-isolate for 14 days, if it is negative, then of course you can continue the rest of your stay as normal.
  • If anyone becomes severely ill due to Covid-19 while staying at the property and they need medical assistance – you must phone 999.
  • Please refer to the amended terms and conditions if anyone stays longer at the property than the check out date due to Covid-19 as significant charges apply.
